garage sale finds

Last Saturday was a blank day in our extremely busy summer calender, except for an appointment at Les Swab to have our vans alignment done. Which turned into a fiasco. But that is a story for another day. I want to tell you about our finds at garage sales Saturday morning. We love to garage sale but don't go as often as we would like. Our kids like it especially, because they are cute and people give them junk for free.


Hailey got this new addition to her monster dog collection. And this one has a really cool, high pitched squeaky bark and walks! Awesome.

Love that. But we managed to stumble on a few great deals too. I found this really nice, christian lady who had truckloads of fabric for sale really cheap. I walked away with only three things but can't stop thinking about all I left behind. A coat rack for five bucks that I've been wanting for a long time to hang my bags on in my sewing room. A few VHS movies (yes, we buy those $1 VHS kids movies because we are cheap and still have a VCR that works) and finally a beautiful sideboard that we will be fixing up, painting and putting somewhere... Hmmm, hope we can find somewhere to put it! It was only $20! Oh yes, we are the deal finders!!
