I was invited to a good friend, Kerry's, air conditioned house to just hang out. She didn't even mind that I camped out at her dining room table and spent the afternoon cutting up all that pretty fabric. We sipped her homemade lemonade (YUM) and chatted while our kids played in the pool. What a lovely time staying cool and catching up, while being productive! I'll post all these bags when they are finished. I am working on a custom order right now,
and I'm sort of waiting to make these new bags up because of my very exciting news.I'm ordering Tags! Sew in tags for my bags! I'm very excited about this professional aspect of my little hobby and I'm hesitating to make any more bags until I can sew in my very own label! we'll see if I can resist sewing these that long though! I am having trouble deciding what type of tag to order and I may have to ask your opinions to make my final choice. My husband thinks it should be a bifold tag on the outside of each bag, but I'm leaning tward a flat tag for the inside. What do ou think? Would you want a bag from me with a tag on the outside like this?
Or one sewn in to the interior like this one?
These are some sample tags of others this company has done. Mine will obviously look different and have my logo on them. They will be smaller too. Anyway just throwing that out there, any opinions, feel free to share them! I'll keep you updated on my tag adventure!

That's a tough decision, because they both look really nice. When I saw the first pic, of the outside tag, I liked it...and then I saw the inside tag and I liked it too. Maybe inside, but it's only slightly ahead. Maybe just because it is slightly bigger and you can have more of a cool logo on it, rather than just your name as the smaller tag shows.
I kinda like a tag on the inside-but that's just me! Do what you like :) I can't wait to see the finished products because that fabric looks sooo fun!

Majority rules...so I guess you should go with the inside tag. The problem is, there is no marketing presence on the inside. You have to think BIG!
If it is on the inside, why do you need a tag?
It's a quality and distinction thing! It makes my bag more professional and I can sell in boutiques and things. Plus if people see the bag and love it they can look inside and see the tag to see who made it!
Oh I like those! I can't wait to see all the new ones you are making! And way to go relax with a friend on a hot day! Glad I wasn't here to experience the heat wave! ;)
I kinda like the tag on the inside...but I would buy it either way because they are all so cute!
I prefer the inside tag, but the outside tag is also very cute. Whatever you decide will be great!
