So I don't know about you, but my bedroom has always been the neglected space. The hubs and I have almost been married ten years and we have never owned a real bed. We just had this ancient frame that was breaking, to hold our mattress. Not only that, but when we moved I had a whole house to paint and decorate and not a ton of money to do that with. All other spaces seemed more important, at least more visible to the people who come over. So since our room was bare and ugly it tended to collect junk and trash and things I wanted to hide while I was having people over. So the door would get closed and no one could look inside. That is all about to change.
Here are some hideous before pictures, and yes I cleaned it up a bit. But I will follow with a post showing the amazing transformation my room has undergone. And it is about time!
Terrible I know. I don't really understand that purple bedspread either, but sadly we've lived with it for years. Not anymore baby! Stay tuned.

I'm jealous. My bedroom is so awful. WAY worse than yours. Maybe someday it will change. Can't wait to see your pretty new bedroom!

Those pictures don't do that room justice... It actually looks worse in real life, especially when you walk in there from the rest of the house that is wonderfully painted and decorated.
