I'm baaack!

So I'm feeling tired and a little lonely today. My hubs is away on business and I'm craving a little grown up time. the kids have been fighting and it's been a bit of a busy week so far all on my own. But I think my attitude has something to do with the let down after such exciting weeks leading up to this one. The family mission trip, a few days recovery and then the quilt show with my buddy Emily. Then I got home and spent a couple hours with Russ and he left for Bogota, Columbia at 3am the next morning. I just don't think I was prepared for single parenting it in a super messy house right after all that craziness. But today is actually a bit better. I had a LOVELY drive to Portland today with our caseworker and I feel revived and encouraged. I love her by the way and  am so thankful to have had her on our case this year. What a blessing. I'll share more about that on Friday!

Well I have some goals this week but I'm afraid to spell them out for fear I am too lazy to actually accomplish them. They are mostly cleaning/organizing things which I'm feeling zero motivation to begin. But they really need to happen, so we'll see. I'll leave you with a photo of Em and I hanging quilts at the Sisters quilt show, it was a really fun moment and I'm so thankful I got to go even with my husband getting ready to leave for a week. Thanks Russ for being so unselfish and letting me sneak away to have fun!

It's a simple way to plan your day & get so much done without thinking of it. I bought the first calendar (you can see a sample) for $4... I love it! Hope you get a little peace I. Your crash landing. :)

My week has been kind of ditto (minus the hubby actually gone- just been separately busy for the past several days) so I'm feeling it too.
I'm feeling encouraged again tonight to keep my time in the Word, my eyes on eternity in heaven, and taking time in praying with my little "blessings" :)
You can do it, friend! Housework isn't such a big deal when we are on our way to heaven, just take it one thing at a time!
Love you and praying for you!
